(Chemical and Processing Department)

PREAMBLE

The programme aims to provide a broad range of chemical engineering techniques.

The main objective of the programme is to produce a graduate capable of designing manufacturing plants with optimized performance while preserving the environment and keeping the processes economic and viable. Duration is five (5) years.

Normal Entry

Passes at ‘A’ level in Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, and any other Science subject. Diploma holders in Chemistry and/or related fields will be considered

Visiting School  Programme

At least 5 ‘O’ level passes including Mathematics and English Language.

Passed at “A’ level Chemistry and Mathematics.

At least two years working experience in the relevant field (proof of employment required).

OR

A National Diploma (ND2) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy, or equivalent qualifications.

Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Processing Honours Degree (4 years) Visiting
