Dr Sanzan Diarra
Dr Sanzan Diarra is a Zimbabwean citizen born in Mali and is a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer. He holds a PhD in Structural Diagnostics, Certificates in Dispute Resolution and Logistics and is a staunch advocate and practitioner of Corporate Governance, anti-corruption, transparency and work ethics. Dr Diarra has worked with the University of Zimbabwe, NUST, Harare and Bulawayo Polytechnics holding the following notable posts: Academic Coordinator and Dean from 1988-2004. He has done consultancy work for United Nations, UNDP, WHO and UNICEF. Furthermore, Dr Diarra is a Chartered Arbitrator, Mediator and is a former Deputy President and current Chief Executive Officer of Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers.
Dr Diarra sits in the following professional and academic boards: Fellow and former Chairman of the Council of the Institute of Directors of Zimbabwe (IoDZ), ZIMCODE 2 Governance of Disputes and Business Failures Thematic Committee, Board member of ZINWA and Standards Association of Zimbabwe; Member of the Zimbabwe Engineering Accreditation Board and Chair of Shape & Size Committee of ZIMCHE.
