  1.     BURSAR’S DEPARTMENT
  1. Assistant Bursar, Non-Current Assets (1 Post)

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the University asset register.
  • Drafting and posting of all periodic depreciation, Au and other related Journals.
  • Verification of existence and location of Assets.
  • Compilation of all relevant Audit schedules.
  • Servicing of related committee meetings.
  • Asset Disposal management in liaison with procurement.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

      Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • An Accounting/ Finance Degree or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years relevant work experience in a similar position preferably in University environment.
  • Knowledge of IPSAS that deal with NCA is an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy/ Accounting packages a must.
  1. Assistant Bursar, Stores (1 Post)

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of stores from procurement, receiving, dispatching and stock take as well as stores maintenance.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records.
  • Responsible for all aspects of stock taking, reconciliations, and physical stock items to the electronic ledger.
  • Ensure all security procedures and access to stores is correctly and effectively adhered to.
  • Maintenance of stock levels.
  • Supervision of departmental stores clerks.
  • Organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehoused goods.
  • Maintenance of warehouse records.
  • Developing warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Correct and proper attention to any stock variances.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

      Desired Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have a first degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management/ Purchasing & Supply/ Retail & Logistics Management/ Stores Management or equivalent plus at least three (3) years of stock management. Should be a holder or pursuing a professional qualification such as CIPS/ Diploma in Material Stores (IAC) and extensive knowledge of Pastel. A clean class 4 driver’s licence and or a relevant Masters Degree is an added advantage.

  1. Administrative Assistant – Non-Current Assets (1 Post)

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the University asset register.

  • Servicing of related committee meetings.

  •     AUDIT DEPARTMENT
  • Information and Technology Auditor (1 Post)

           Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for conducting IT audits and review of Systems, Applications and Processes.
    • Will Examine and Evaluate MSUAS Information Systems for adequacy of controls, efficiency, reliability, data integrity and confidentiality. other duties as assigned.
    • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have a degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Possessing or studying towards CISA/CISM.
  • At least two (2) years relevant work experience.
  • A Masters degree in Information Technology or Computer Science will be an added advantage.
  •     DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS
  • Nurse-Health Services Department (2 Posts)

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Patient consultation, examination, diagnosis and treatment assisted by University Doctor where necessary.
  • Dispensing of medicines.
  • Giving health education to staff and students.
  • Maintaining confidential, detailed and accurate records of patients’ conditions, diagnosis and treatments done.
  • Escort patient to other referral hospitals where necessary.
  • Plan and conduct regular training sessions, campaigns and workshops on health related issues for both students and staff.
  • Compile and submit monthly reports.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Doctor from time to time.

      Desired Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have a Diploma in General Nursing, at least 5 O’ Levels including English, plus at least two (2) years hands on post qualification experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or its equivalent is a distinct advantage. A valid practicing certificate from the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe is a requirement. In addition, applicants should be of high integrity, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skill, emotional mature and self-driven. University experience as a General Nurse and or postgraduate qualification (s) in Mental Health/Community Nursing/ Health Promotion/ Psychological Counseling is an added advantage. A driver’s licence is a further added advantage.
