Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS) hosted a health fair organized by the University’s Health Services Department

Running under the theme, ‘Know your Health Service Providers’, the fair aimed at creating awareness of health issues that affect students and staff in their day to day lives as well as connecting them with representatives from various health professions.

The event provided an opportunity to learn more about HIV and AID, mental health issues, physical health as well as encouraged HIV self-testing for all attendees.

Stakeholders who attended the fair included; SAYWHAT, UNESCO, Red Cross, New Start Center and the fair was punctuated by a lot of fun-filled activities that included music and dance.

The MSUAS Health Services Department is the process of registering a Mental Health Centre to curb mental health issues as well as drug and substance abuse that affect the young generation nowadays.
