Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences added yet another accolade to its glittering list of awards after it was adjudged “The Outstanding Training Instituition of the year 2022 Platinum Winner” at the Megafest Eastern Region Awards ceremony that was held at Golden Peacock Hotel, in Mutare on Friday, 24 February 2023.

The award is an esteemed recognition of the university’s purposeful contributions to human capital development in Zimbabwe and abroad saw the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Albert Chawanda together with the Director Marketing, Information and Public Relations, Mrs Shingayirayi Moyo also scooped the Gold Award for the Strategic Leader of the Year 2022 Category and Platinum Award for the Director of the Year 2022 Category respectively.

Speaking on behalf of the institution, Professor Chawanda said;

“The recognition is a product of hard work and team work and; is another reminder to ourselves as team MSUAS that we are winners and great success lies ahead. Let us re-dedicate ourselves to duty as we strategically position MSUAS for future.”

The MegaFest Awards are held annually in honour of individuals and organisations who excelled and have been resilient in a turbulent business environment for the past year.
