The Chairman of Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences Council, Dr Blessing Mudavanhu, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Albert Chawanda, University Council, Senate, Staff and Students, wish to express their heartfelt condolences to the Murapa family and the entire nation on the untimely passing of veteran educationist par excellence, Professor Rukudzo Murapa.

His forthright, astute and visionary contributions during his time as the Chairman of MSUAS Council will forever be written in the successful higher and tertiary education story of Zimbabwe, Africa and beyond. An academic giant, self-starter and wisdom doyen who judiciously and selflessly applied himself beyond measure.

We pray that the Murapa family find solace in the fact that they are not alone during this difficult time, but that their loss is deeply shared by the entire MSUAS community
