Mr Henry Nemaire

Mr Henry Nemaire is a Chartered Certified Accountant with vast experience gained from the transformation of Tanganda Tea Company from a single crop company into a diversified and efficient tea grower by global standards. Today, Tanganda produces 4 300kgs per hectare which is a global benchmark yield in the tea sector. Through the diversification strategy into macadamia nuts and avocadoes Tanganda’s exports have grown over the past 5 years from US$10m in 2014 to US$20m in 2019 (Straight-line average 20% growth per annum). Tanganda Tea Company was Zimtrade exporter of year 2019 ‘Processed foods category’. Mr Nemaire is the Finance Director for Tanganda Tea Company Limited and Chairman of the Trade Development and Investment Promotion Committee of CZI. He is also an Independent Director of Fidelity Life Assurance of Zimbabwe and a Trustee of the Development Trust of Zimbabwe (DTZ).
