Momentum continues to build on Day 2 of the high-level Strategic Planning Workshop for the 2026–2030 period, currently underway in the serene and mystic hills of Vumba. Stakeholders from across Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences are deeply engaged in shaping the institution’s future trajectory.
Building on the strong groundwork laid during Day 1, participants have shifted into intensive reflective assessments, strategic thinking and collaborative dialogue aimed at crafting a forward-looking and results-driven strategy to guide MSUAS over the next five years.
Key focus areas for Day 2 include the refinement of the University’s vision, mission and core values; a thorough review of the institution’s terms of reference, statutory functions, and key policies; and detailed consideration of the clients and stakeholders’ analysis as well as the environmental scan reports.
Participants are also being introduced to the results framework, including MSUAS’s alignment with national and sectoral results frameworks, and the preliminary outcomes performance architecture.
As discussions progress, the workshop continues to strengthen meaningful engagement, institutional alignment, and shared ownership of MSUAS’s strategic direction.
Through this rigorous and participatory process, MSUAS reaffirms its unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and national development — advancing boldly, one strategic step at a time.
