ZUSA wins athletics competitions!!!!

The Zimbabwe Universities Sports Association (ZUSA) massacred its opponents at the 2023 edition of the Zimbabwe Tertiary Institutions Sports Union (ZTISU) games which were hosted at Mutare Polytechnic from the 12 to 16 of July 2023.

The games feature male and female teams from ZUSA, Zimbabwe Teachers Colleges Sports (ZITCOSA) and Technical Colleges Sports Association of Zimbabwe (TESAZ)

ZUSA teams walked away with 43 medals, ZITCOSA came in second with 32 medals whilst the TESAZ finished third with 23 medals.

This year’s games saw two students from Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences participating in ZUSA Basketball Select Team and two athletes are Kadzima Trevor and Crispen Kudzai Mhike.

The basketball team posted a splendid performance, however they narrowly lost to the Technical Colleges Select Team with 74-78 where they scooped a silver medal.

As the university we salute and congratulate the ZUSA Basketball Select Team for their sharpened shooting prowess and unparalleled endurance for participating in the 2023 ZTISU games.
