๐ณ๏ธ NOTICE OF SRC ELECTIONS 2025 โ MANICALAND STATE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES
All students are hereby informed that SRC Elections for 2025 are scheduled as follows:
- Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections: 5 June 2025
- Ministerial Elections: 6 June 2025
๐ Nomination Process:
Students interested in contesting for any SRC position must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be Level 1.2 or above
- Not on Work-Related Learning nor due for it in the coming semester
- Have no failed module to date
- Must have registered for the previous academic semester
๐ Important Dates:
- Nomination Forms Available: from 28 May 2025 โ Executive Deanโs Office
- Deadline for Submissions: 02 June 2025 at 10:00 AM
- Late submissions will not be accepted
๐ Submission Requirements:
Submit your nomination via email to srcelections@msuas.ac.zw with:
- Subject: APPLICATION
- Body: Full Name, Student ID, Registration Number, Programme of Study
- Attachments:
- Passport-size Photograph
- Biographical details & Nomination Form
- Curriculum Vitae
- 250-word manifesto for publishing
- Transcript (1.1 to current semester)
- Payment of:
- $5 for President & Vice President
- $3 for other Ministerial posts

Submissions and correspondence must be made using your university email (e.g. regnumber@students.msuas.ac.zw).
๐ Note:
Only students who meet the requirements and are ratified by the Electoral College will be allowed to campaign. Campaigning before official approval is against the SRC Constitution.
โ Voting Platform:
Elections will be conducted via Google Classroom. Further details will be communicated in due course.
