The Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences will be holding its first graduation ceremony jointly with the Midlands State University (MSU) on November 26, 2021 in Gweru as follows:
- PHYSICAL GRADUATION CEREMONY
A physical graduation ceremony will be held at the MSU Main Campus, Multi-Purpose Hall, in Gweru.
All graduands with first classes and awards will participate in the physical ceremony.
Each graduand is allowed to invite ONLY ONE guest. - VIRTUAL GRADUATION CEREMONY
The graduands who will attend the graduation virtually shall do so as follows:

All graduands are encouraged to be in their graduation attire as they follow the virtual proceedings wherever they will be.
Graduands attending the physical graduation ceremony should note the following:
Graduands and Guests are required to be seated by 0900 hours.
Outstanding Fees: Please note that only graduands whose fees are paid in full will be allowed to attend the ceremony. The deadline for payment is the November 23, 2021.
Graduation fee (inclusive of academic regalia) is USD65, or the prevailing ZWL interbank equivalent and should be paid by Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Payment can be made through the following modes: Cash or Swipe at MSUAS Bursar’s Office or bank deposits:

You are reminded to ensure that you pay on time for the payment to reflect in the University accounts before or on the 24th of November 2021.

- ACADEMIC REGALIA
Graduands are to collect their academic regalia from the MSUAS Main Campus (Registry Office) after payment of full graduation fee starting from the 19th of November 2021.
Invitation Cards: All invitation cards shall be collected on the 25th of November 2021. For collection logistics, liaise through 0718830510.
Dress: Graduands are advised to formal and decent clothes.
Accommodation: Limited accommodation is available at MSU Campus on a first-come, first-served basis for graduands and their guest at USD 10/ ZWL equivalent per individual/night (including linen).
Security Checkpoint: All graduands and their guest will pass through a Security check point where their invitation cards will be verified. Only one person per graduand with an invitation cards will be allowed into the Graduation Arena and ONLY these TWO will be entitled to seats.
NB: Please note that the following items will not be allowed into the graduation venue:
Lipstick and perfume containers, sharp objects, knives, ball point pens and cameras.
Rehearsals: Will be held on Thursday, the 25th of November 2021 at 1400 at the Gweru Main Campus. Please note: only graduands attending the physical graduation ceremony must attend the rehearsals.
Covid-19 Guidelines : Please note that graduands, staff and invited guests will be required to present a COVID-19 Certificate showing that one has been fully vaccinated and a valid COVID-19 Negative Test Result (PCR Test or Rapid Antigen Test ), taken not more than 48hrs before the graduation ceremony.
Temporary Road Closure at MSU: Please be advised that the Town– Senga/MSU route will be closed at the Senga turn-off traffic circle after 0900 hours and thereafter all guests and graduands will have to use the Fletcher – MSU route.
