  1.     SYSTEMS ANALYST
  1. Software Developer (2 Posts)

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing products.
  • Must be able to carry out deployments and undertake quality assurance procedures.
  • Design and update Database.
  • Independently install, customize and integrate commercial packages.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

      Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have a computer related degree or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience in System Development.
  • Familiar with Java, Python C#, CH/ React Narrative.
  1. Systems Analyst (1 Post)

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily operations of the Library Computer System.
  • Plan, develop and provide comprehensive ICT services to improve networked access to the library’s Information Resources and Services.
  • Identify and implement innovative Library ICT Services that contribute to the intellectual and academic life of the University.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

      Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • At least a degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science or Equivalent.
  • A certificate in Library Management and Infrastructure.
  • One (1) year relevant work experience.
  • Experience in working with Koha.
  • Familiar with E-resources access and authentication.
  1. Helpdesk Technician (1 Post)

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
  • Update customer data and produce activity reports.
  • Walk customers through problem solving process.
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

      Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • A computer related degree or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year relevant experience.
  •  Graphic Designer

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.
  • Shape the visual aspects of the website, newspaper articles, adverts, newsletters, magazines, exhibitions and more.
  • Translate requirements into design.
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for proposal.
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using softwares.
  • Use appropriate colours and layout to each graphic.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visual appealing and on brand.
  • Have a flair in the following software’s and technologies, Code Draw, InDesign, Illustrator, Dream weaver and Photoshop.
  • Ability to work under pressure methodically and meet deadlines.
  • Should have a creative and artistic mind have bring flavour to the final design.
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to work as a team player

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma/HND in graphic Design with least Two (2) years’ experience.
  • Degree in Graphic design/Design and a Diploma in Graphic Design and at least 3 years hands-on experience
  • Quantity Surveying Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Calculation of Quantities for projects.
  • Budgeting of maintenance of facilities.
  • Measurements of works.
  • Compilation and consolidation of pay sheets.
  • Project cost estimates.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Quality Surveying.
  • 5 O’ Levels.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the University set up.
  • Class 4 Drivers Licence.
