Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to lead in relevant research activities and supervise students’ research and is also expected to teach at least three of the following modules:
- Strategic Human Resources Management for Tourism and Hospitality Management
- Advanced Food and Beverage Management
- Tourism Transport
- Tourism Operations Management.

- A relevant PhD is an added advantage.
- DEPARTMENT OF APPLIED ACCOUNTING SCIENCES
Part-Time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to lead in relevant research activities and supervise
Students’ research, Knowledge of Accounting Packages and teach the
following module:
- Practical Accounting Data Processing.
Desired Qualifications
- MSc in accounting.
- BSc in Accounting.
- Part time lecturer should have knowledge in Accounting Packages
Please note that the duties and responsibilities of a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor and Professor are grouped into 5 main categories which are:
- Teaching
The incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and or Faculty guidelines and standards.
- University Service and Community Engagement
The incumbent should participate in all Department, Faculty/School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conferences, committees and seminars, among others.
- Research
The incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University.
- Innovations
Innovations which should lead to production of goods and services.
- Industrialisation
Through commercialisation of goods and services.
