I am delighted to inform you that your decision to enrol with Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences is strategic because it is in line with our theme for this year, “Towards Producing a Balanced, Fully Developed Graduate Disciplined for the Realization of Education 5.0”.

Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences will without doubt equip you with the requisite competencies and skills which are result driven to enable you to contribute to the transformation of our society and national development.

As l come before you today, l would like to implore you to fully utilize the opportunities that the university provides in order for you to realise your academic achievements. Taking note that the University presents opportunities that develop capabilities which prepare you for the future and advanced responsibilities.

I encourage you to fully utilize the years of university life and uphold discipline, that your studies are not derailed by among other things, drug and substance abuse, alcoholism but fully commit yourselves to the sacrifices made by your parents and guardians.

l call upon all of you to exploit individual potential and build capacity to the national human capital of our country, Zimbabwe.
