Members of the Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS) Infrastructure Development Committee have commended the ongoing infrastructural projects at Fernhill Campus in Mutare.
During their visit, the Councilors highlighted the remarkable progress made in aligning physical development with the University’s vision. Their on-site assessment focused on infrastructure development milestones, maintenance standards, and resource utilisation across various university facilities.
The delegation, which included councilors Mr. Chomi Makina, Mr Tinashe Martin Nyambuya, Ms Mirirai Washaya and Mr Wisdom Siziba, acknowledged the transformative impact of the projects on the institution’s growth and competitiveness.
Chairperson of the Committee, MSUAS Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Upenyu Guyo expressed gratitude for the visit, describing it as a reflection of trust and a shared commitment to advancing higher education and innovation.
“We are grateful for the time you have taken to evaluate our ongoing infrastructure projects,” he said. “Such engagements are critical in ensuring that MSUAS remains steadfast in its infrastructural development trajectory. They shape our strategic direction, ensuring academic excellence.”
