  1.      ICT DEPARTMENT
  1. Academic and Administration Services Manager (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leading the ICT Department to ensure smooth operation and integration of technological solutions across academic functions.
  • Collaborating with academic departments to enhance digital learning environments and support faculty in leveraging technology for effective teaching.
  • Overseeing administrative technological services and academic related operations.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

            Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science /Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Master of Science in Information Technology.
  • At least 3 years of experience in ICT. 
  • Cloud computing and Cybersecurity qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, including networks services and databases.
  • Technical skills.
  • Familiar with learning management systems, excellent leadership and management skills.
  1. User Support Technician (1 Post)

      Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for technical support.
  • Assistance to users.
  • Ensuring optimal use of ICT resources and minimal downtime.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

      Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  1. Network Technician (1 Post)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting computer networks.
  • Ensuring optimal performance and downtime.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or any IT relevant degree.
  • Network qualification will be an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience.
  •      FACULTY ADMINISTRATORS

Assistant Registrar (2 Posts)

            Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support and advice to the Executive Dean of Faculty.
  • Acting as the first contact point for students, staff and public enquiries to the faculty office.
  • Coordinating student recruitment through preparing advertisements for academic programs in the faculty in conjunction with the Admissions section.
  • Facilitating the conduct of examinations and processing examination results.
  • Organizing and servicing committee meetings in accordance with the University committee’s diary.
  • Facilitating academic planning, teaching and learning and student registration.
  • Administration of student records.
  • Organizing and managing faculty activities such as workshops, field visits, public lectures and research conferences.
  • Facilitating travel and excursion arrangements.
  • Preparing and participating in graduation ceremonies through producing a comprehensive list of graduands.
  • Preparing faculty budgets, facilitating procurement and managing faculty assets.
  • Compiling faculty statistics for both students and staff.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Dean of Faculty.

             Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences/Business Studies/Humanities or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree in the relevant field is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years University experience as an administrator.
  • An understanding of student progression.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  •      DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES

Nurse (1 Post)

            Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implementing and evaluating individual treatment plan for patients.
  • Identifying and managing as appropriate treatment plans for patients at risk of developing long term positions.
  • Ensuring that all required observations, prescribed treatment and procedures are properly carried out and documented in the patient’s charts.
  • Escorting patients to other referral hospitals where necessary.
  • Planning and conducting regular training sessions, campaigns and workshops on health issues for both students and staff.
  • Giving health education to parties.
  • Compiling and submitting monthly reports.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

             Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in General Nursing or Primary Care Training.
  • At least 5 O’ Levels including English.
  • At least two (2) years hands on post qualification experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or its equivalent is a distinct advantage.
  • A valid practicing certificate from the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe.
  • Applicants should be of high integrity, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emotionally mature and self-driven.
  • University experience as a General Nurse and or postgraduate qualification(s) in Mental Health/Community Nursing/Health Promotion/Psychological Counselling is a distinct advantage.
